Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Masyarakat Dalam Penggunaan Larvasida Temepos di Kota Banjarmasin
Abstract
The use temefos an attempt to control the mosquito Aedes aegypti in the pre-adult stage is used in the District of North Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin City as dengue endemic areas. The purpose of this study to determine the knowledge and attitudes of people in using time-fuse. The study design used is explanatory research using questionnaires by simple accidental sampling. Results showed no relationship between attitude, experience of use, frequency of use and knowledge of the behavior of people in using time-fuse in the District of North Banjarmasin.Based on the results of logistic regression analysis showed only experience (p = 0.058 Exp. B = 3.164) and attitude (p = 0.027 Exp. B = 4.542) effect on people's behavior in using time-fuse in Banjarmasin. There is a need for counseling about the use of temepos, especially regarding the mechanism of the ways and doses used.
